Amy B. Lewis, M.D. is your premier medical and cosmetic dermatologist located in the heart of Upper East Side Manhattan. Dr. Lauren Levy

Lauren Levy, MD, FAAD is a Board-certified Dermatologist who specializes in acne, rosacea, hair loss, and medical dermatology.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania. She then attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine, graduating with the highest honors, AOA.

Dr. Levy completed her residency at the renowned department of dermatology at Yale University. 

She is the author of numerous publications and editor of a popular dermatology board review textbook. Her hobbies include spending time with her children and riding the Peloton.

Dr. Joseph Sarhan

Joseph Sarhan, MD, PhD is a Yale-trained, board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon, with specialized training in hair loss, facial rejuvenation and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Sarhan brings a fresh perspective, MD + PhD training, and meticulous attention to detail. His expertise in dermatological care and minimally invasive procedures ensures patients receive comprehensive, high-quality treatment tailored to their needs. Dr. Sarhan’s collaborative approach allows for personalized solutions that blend innovation and expertise.

Dr. Shawn Shih

Dr. Shih is a dermatologist board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is an expert on various dermatologic conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, melasma, hair loss, hidradenitis, and skin cancer. Dr. Shih offers the most up-to-date medical and cosmetic treatments to patients of all ages and skin types. He excels in combination treatments using neuromodulator (wrinkle relaxers), filler, chemical peel, subcision, and various lasers and energy-based devices for skin aging, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and other cosmetic concerns. Known for his personalized and gentle approach, Dr. Shih is committed to empowering his patients to look and feel their best from the inside out.

Dr. Shih completed his training at University of California, Berkeley, University of Central Florida, and Boston University. He has authored numerous book chapters and publications in top peer-reviewed dermatology journals. Dr. Shih is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He is also a faculty at the department of dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital, committed to teaching the next generation of dermatologists. Dr. Shih grew up in Taiwan and is a native Mandarin speaker. Outside of seeing patients and attending conferences, Dr. Shih enjoys going to the gym, dancing, playing piano, and singing karaoke.

Jill Caruso – Board-Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Jill Caruso has been working in the beauty industry for over 20 years, and performing cosmetic medical procedures for 13 years. Using dermal fillers, neurotoxins, and other minimally invasive treatments, Jill softens the signs of aging. She was one of the first nurse injectors in the New York City area to have earned the CANS certification recognized by the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses. Jill’s less is more philosophy aids in achieving natural results for her patients. By listening to patients’ concerns, Jill helps people achieve their aesthetic goals, making suggestions, and assisting patients on their aesthetic journey. Jill explains aesthetic medicine as a marathon, not a sprint, and years of aging cannot be erased in a day.

Jill has worked with the top plastic surgeons and dermatologists in New York City and across the globe including: Dr. Amy Lewis, Dr. Lara Devgan, Dr. Tom Van Eijk, Dr. Kate Goldie, and world renowned Dr. Arthur Swift, to name a few. Jill continuously stays up-to-date with the latest advances in anti-aging treatments and technologies across the globe, by participating in medical aesthetic meetings, workshops, and seminars. Most recently, Jill was chosen to join the Swift Beauty team. Swift Beauty offers training in advanced injection techniques, a unique cadaver lab course taught by the world’s leading anatomist Dr. Sebastian Cotofana.

Jill earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University, Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Certificate in Design from the Parsons School of Design. She is now seeing patients at Lewis Dermatology and Associates.

Mercedes Baez – MSN-RN and Master Injector

Mercedes Baez is an International Medical Graduate from Argentina with a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University. Mercedes excels at restoring patients’ self-confidence through natural results that defy time. Her patient and thoughtful approach is based on extensive knowledge of pathophysiology and a deep understanding of the science of aesthetic medicine. Patients respect her expertise in creating combined treatments that tackle aging from multiple angles in the most natural-looking way.
